There are indeed too many orphans in Pakistan.
The China-Pakistan Youth Solidarity Home was established to take in orphans from the floods in Pakistan and the war-torn Kashmir region
The Pakistanis have been very kind to us international students. We wanted to show our gratitude, so we gradually launched some charity projects.
When we went to the refugee camp, we saw that many families were extremely poor and their lives were very difficult. These children in the refugee camp had no prospects and couldn't benefit from education to give them some opportunities. So we decided to register the China-Brazil Youth United Circle International in Pakistan.
Starting from 2013, we also visited this refugee camp one after another. Later, we built two classrooms for them.
We prefer that all the children in the refugee camps attend classes. Therefore, every year during their program, we distribute some supplies to them, providing them with some assistance for their daily lives, and encouraging these refugee children to come and study here.
The principal informed us that this child's eyes were suffering from a disease and needed to be examined and operated on at the hospital. The family is also extremely poor and requires our Chinese people to offer assistance.
In fact, when children in the refugee camps fall ill, their families, due to financial constraints, are unable to take them to see a doctor. So when a child gets sick, he has to rely on himself. Some children die more frequently because they cannot deal with minor illnesses.
If they seek our help and if it is within our ability to assist, we will do our best to offer help.
Now there are many orphans seeking help, and we also hope to be able to assist more orphans. We plan to look into whether we can make the orphanage more formal in the future. We intend to build a large orphanage in Pakistan, with school buildings and a school, so that they can study better.
We have always been very eager for our Chinese social organizations to go global and spread China's kindness and love to every corner of the world. Because we need Chinese social organizations to go out and convey China's kindness to every place. This is what we need to do.
